On October 24 to 25, the 13th Doctoral Forum of Crop Science in Yangtze River Delta was held in Agricultural College of Nanjing Agricultural University. This forum adopts the mode of combining online and offline. More than 100 crop science doctoral students from 12 universities gathered online for academic exchange. 8 scholars were invited to serve as evaluation experts including Professor Chen Chen of our college.

On the forum, Dr. Yang Yihao, a young scholar of our college, made a presentation entitled "Mapping Cloning and Functional Research of Rice protein content QTL QGPC-10". Dr. Lu Jun, Zhou Nianbing, and Cheng Xiaojun made academic reports respectively. Dr. Cheng Xiaojun won the first prize of the presentation, Dr. Annibing and Dr. Lu Jun won the third prize, and Dr. Zhang Xinbo won the Award of Excellent Poster presentation.

This forum provides a platform for teachers and students of crop science to present research results, plays an active role in promoting academic exchanges and improving the quality of postgraduate training.
