From May 25 to 26, our college led the organization of domestic experts to test the yield of the high yield of malting barley in Huaihai Branch (Huaihai Farm) and Linhai Branch (Linhai Farm) of Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Agricultural Development Co., LTD.

The expert group inspected the growth of the maturity period of the high-yield research field, listened to the production situation and technical plan report, and carried out on-site machine harvest measurement of the three varieties of "Yangnong Beer No. 7, Su Beer No. 12 and Yangnong Beer No. 14". After the procedures of area measurement, weighing, moisture measurement and impurities removal, the per mu yield was finally approved as 678.8kg, 681.2kg and 767.5kg, among which the high-yield and multi-resistance new variety " Yangnong Beer No. 14", which was bred by Professor Xu Rugen's team through crossbreeding, set a new record of high yield in Jiangsu Province with a per mu yield of 767.5kg.
