From April 25 to 28, 2024, the 7th National Conference on Maize Biology sponsored by the Chinese Crop Society and the Corn Professional Committee of the Chinese Crop Society was successfully held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The conference was jointly organized by Yangzhou University, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Nanjing Agricultural University, and co-organized by Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Crop Genomics and Molecular Breeding of Yangzhou University and Jiangsu Provincial Collaborative Innovation Center of Modern Industrial Technology of Food Crops. More than 800 representatives from more than 170 universities, research institutes and seed industry enterprises participated in the conference, and 22 well-known enterprises in the industry participated in the exhibition. Journal of Genetics and Genomics, Molecular Plant, Plant Biotechnology Journal, The Crop Journal, Genome Biology and other well-known journals participated in the promotion.
